Hey Pete seems like a real nice guy. The secret is dynamite. Actually it is a crank bait that will make them mad even if they are not biting. I forgot to tell you that I caught 5 blacks also on this lure today. I did have a heck of a time on topwater. I found this bait 3 years ago and it has caught a lot of whites. I may go back monday or tuesday. I don't think tomorrow will be any good due to the front comin in. I might see if Pete wants to go, he said something about going with me.

No I did not go to the shoals. I think I was about 2 miles from them or little further. I forgot my GPS. I wanted to see how far it was to the shoals. Maybe monday or tuesday I will go back and take my GPS with me. I wanted to check and see how far it on some other spots. By the way the alligators are already coming out, so be careful.

But was wondering if this cold front may have them spooked or are they even running yet ? I havent really heard too much about this year so far but in the years past I happen to catch them right. What would you think?

The cold front might slow them down but they are there to take care of business and need to stay until they do. You might want to wash off all the fish smell from your kayak. The gators are starting to come out. Towards midweek and the end of this week is really supposed to warm up. We should get to see some more gators and the whites should go crazy. Be careful and catch a lot of fish.

We fished yesterday for hours. We launched at Pete's and went all the way to the shoals. There were a bunch of boats in the creek. We caught about ten here and there. Pete said it was like that all day.

I caught 4 this morning but seen no gators, and the fish were all about 11 inches.

The cold front might have slowed them down some. I will be going to Bedias tuesday or wednesday. Trying to find someone that might want to go with me. It starts warming up tuesday and the whites should start going crazy again.
