Went with my brother-in-law today and the fishing was very slow. Don't know why!

How's the river water level? Can you launch a 18ft boat at Logansport?

Chartreuse heads with chartreuse or white shirts worked best, but most any color will catch fish.

For us, they seemed to like anything with white, or chartreuse body and orange or black color head. No preference between grub tails or skirts.

We'll be there Sunday. Hope this little cold front coming in doesn't mess them up. Thinking of putting in at Hwy 59. Anyone put in there lately? Ramp ok?

Fished out of 59 bridge a couple of weeks ago and did real well. From the landing go back under the bridge and go down just 100 yards or so and you will see a tree layed over in the water on the left side of the river. Right before you get to that tree you will see a clean bank line with a line of roots coming down into the water. Anchor out in the river and throw at those roots with a roadrunner(didn't matter on the color). Caught a lot of fish there.

Just got off the river south of Carthage caught 50 between 3 of us. Red head roadrunners with chartreuse skirts. Also traps worked well.

Will be there Sunday morn. Wind chill at 6 am is reported at 22 degrees. Guess we won't have to worry about the fish spoiling.
