Most of the time they are standing on stage at weigh in looking at weigh bags and watching for short fish being brought to the scales.

I've been check twice in one day, by the same warden me too. you would think they would pay better attention but apparently not....

If you never have been checked go to Fayette County a couple of times. That should end your streak.

I'm 37 been checked 4 or 5 times, one ticket for expired fire extinguisher. theres dates on these things???

Only time I've been checked was about 15 minutes after getting on the lake at Amistad. Just wanted to do the routine check. No big deal, only took about a couple minutes and they were real good about it.

Been checked several times over the years, only got a ticket once in my old canoe. I thought my throw cushions were sufficient for PFDs, found out it has to be a WEARABLE PFD. Darned expensive lesson.

I've never been checked. But,I have seen alot of folks get dealt with pretty severely. ALways happens when a spillway is open. People ignore the rules. Last year below Cooper Spillway,I saw the gw take 5 people away. All over limit,undersize fish,and no license. You get what you deserve I guess.

When it rains it pours. I said that for years. Then it seemed like every time and place I went out I got checked. Cedar Creek, Fairfield, Bob Sandlin (numerous), Fork, Tawakoni, and the list continues.
