I got 3 new batteries from Academy last night and hooked them up to my boat. After I hooked them up I put them on the charger and all night them still were not charged according to my charger. I'm sure they came from Academy fully charged so am I worrying about nothing? Thanks

Take a meter and read voltage on them with charger off.

Batteries off the shelf are almost never fully charged. They should always be brought up to 12.7 volts per cell.

i'd also look at the date stamp on the battery to see how old they really are.

I was at Academy in Lewisville yesterday and looked at the batteries. The some of the stamps were from June, July, and Aug of 2008. I wouldn't trust them being on the self that long.

Some gauges on chargers are way off. Check the battery voltage. I look for 12.6.

Now, Donald...please pick John Bolton for your running mate.

+1 on what Oldfrog said. My charger will often say 77% and I disconnect and connect it back and it'll say 100%. These chargers look for voltage and current into the battery. Once the battery reaches 12.6-12.7 volts and the current drops then that means charged. Some chargers just can't detect this properly every time. Causes the battery to say not charged when it may be fully charged.
