Due to scheduling conflicts with other tournament trails at Lake Grapevine and upcoming holidays, I have revised the 2009 Season Schedule for the "Grapevine Tournament Series" and our Special "Open" charity events.

The 2009 BPS - Grapevine Tournament Series will host (10) one-day qualifying events plus (2) "open" charity tournaments that count towards the Grapevine Series two-day championship in September. Here is the revised schedule.....

09/26-27/09: Grapevine Series Championship

To qualify for the 2009 BPS Grapevine Tournament Series Two-Day Championship, anglers / teams must compete in a minimum of (5) of the BPS Series events in any combination. "DOUBLE POINTS" will be awarded for those anglers / teams that compete in the official "Open" events; KVD's Line & Lure Team Bass Challenge & 2nd Annual Britteny Lindt Memorial Bass Classic.

This season, anglers / teams will be able to save $10 off of their entry fee by pre-registering for all BPS Grapevine Series at the reel counter at the Grapevine Bass Pro Shop starting on Thursday February 26th at 5:00pm. NO MONEY NEEDED TO PRE-REGISTER! Simply go to Bass Pro Shop and sign up at the reel counter -- look for the Grapevine Tournament Series Championship Cup. Anglers / teams will receive boat numbers by order of registration.

The entry fee for the 2009 BPS Grapevine Tournament Series will be $60 per boat. Anglers / teams that pre-register at BPS will save $10. Payback will be 90% at the ramp for all Grapevine Series Qualifying Events! Entry fee's do not include optional BIG BASS or JACKPOT Options! BIG BASS Option is $10 Per Boat & Jackpot Option is $10 Per Boat -- Jackpot Options this season will be paid to anglers / teams that finish out of the money, so even if you zero, you still have a chance of taking home some $CASH$!

BASS PRO SHOP BONUS BUCKS -- THIS SEASON, EARN BONUS BUCKS FROM BASS PRO SHOP BY SHOPPING AT THE GRAPEVINE BASS PRO SHOP THE WEEK BEFORE ANY OF THE SANCTIONED TOURNAMENTS. THOSE ANGLERS / TEAMS THAT HAVE A MINIMUM OF $100 IN RECEIPTS FROM THE STORE WITHIN THE SEVEN DAYS PRIOR TO THE NEXT EVENT WILL QUALIFY FOR AN ADDITIONAL PAYOUT FOR THOSE ANGLERS / TEAMS THAT FINISH IN THE 1ST THROUGH 3RD PLACES! WIN A $30 GIFT CARD FOR A 1ST PLACE FINISH -- $20 GIFT CARD FOR A 2ND PLACE FINISH -- $10 GIFT CARD FOR A 3RD PLACE FINISH!

Entry fee's for our Official "Open" Charity Events this season will be $70 per boat. Entry fee does not include BIG BASS Options.

Thanks Scott for updating. I have to complete my applications for kitchen passes and this helps me out alot. I will be fishing as many BPS Tournies as I can. I will also work on getting Innovative Angler to have a booth at the Brittney Open.

I'm looking to maybe get in that Open on April 4th. What is the extra fee on big bass? I notice it's not in the entry fee and it's not mentioned on the web site?

The BIG BASS option is $10 per boat -- and the Jackpot Option is $10 per boat. Jackpot will be paid this year to anglers / teams that do not finish in the money. So, even if you zero you have a chance of taking home some cash!

Ooops, it's on the 5th. I would need to look for a partner for that one. On the hunt again!

Hey Scott, I don't mean to ask a dumb question, but in order to fish these tournaments do you have to be a member of ABA? I checked the grapevine rules section on your website and did not see anything that stated whether or not a membership was necessary. Thanks

No, you do NOT need to be a member of ABA to fish the Grapevine Series. The ABA is another trail that I run and is not affiliated with the Grapevine Series.
