If it's Whites/Hybrids you're looking for, check out the Fishing Reports on our website at www.gonefishin.biz . If it's for the Green Trash Fish, sorry but quit fishing for them 9 years ago when we started the Guide Service. Lake is 5' low and dropping steadily, water temp is 54 degrees and the fish are biting. Spring has sprung early this year! Good Luck and Good Fishin'! Royce & Adam Simmons Gone Fishin' Guide Service

You might as well just give Royce a call and let him show you how to catch fish on RC. We did, caught a bunch and learned a lot. How you doing Royce! www.gonefishin.biz

Bigbass you do know this is a hard lake to fish don't you? Big stringers are caught there but its a tough lake.

I live 20 minutes away. I fish here often, but If you want to catch a lot of bass I recommend trying somewhere else. Now if you are after a bass in the 7-10 lb range, I say go for it. Your odds of catching one are pretty good, but only one. and it might be the only bite you get all day. RC has quality, but not quantity. Hope this helps.

All,
I hate to hear all the negative comments about RC on the largemouth bass coming out of this fine lake. Just take a look at the Results from Bass Champs. There was a 29 plus sack caught, that's five fish. Bigbass 1236 if you have any questions go to my web site or give me a call. Most of the fish are shallow, they will stay shallow just as long as the night start to stay warm. As soon as cold front comes thru it will move them out but not far.

I thought my assessement was fair. I am a huge fan of RC, I even consider it my home lake. I caught an 11.01 oz bass there in May, my personal best. However, this lake disappoints more often than it surprises. No offense meant to anyone, just trying to give Big Bass 1236 a heads-up.

I agree. Numbers are tough right now out there with the water way down. I agree with dirtygear. I fished the Bass Champs tournament one bite one fish. It weighed 8.14lbs. and came out of 25ft of water. A few huge bags but very few limits for a tournament that size. I have shallow spots that generally will produce a number of fish but with the lake 5 ft down they were out of water.
