Fished Trinity near the spillway and JP. We just got the live wells fixed. Sat. was a great opportunity to test them out. Largest trout was 23". Caught a mix of trout, rats, small flounder and sheephead.

i heard there is a consumption ban on specks for the entire galveston bay system limiting you to 8 oz or less per month. any info on this?

There are ways to fillet the fish to greatly reduce possible exposure. PCB's are in everything, even the food you buy at the store.

Sheepies are excellent, little trouble to clean but worth the effort.

Yup, a pain to clean but very tasty. They're in the snapper family.
