There are alot of good catfisherman out there that know that lake as well as the guides...that lake is Magical and anyone can catch big fish at any time.....the guides have more presure on them because everyone thinks they are supose to win....

bottom line is you wont win it if you dont fish it....all that said I am scared to fish it ..if I catch a catfish over 50 lbs I just might die and go to heaven!

Carpbait, you should enter the tourney, we have fished a few at T-WOK and have learned something from every one.The only way ya gonna catch like a pro is fish with em and learn how !!!! anyhow would like to meet you at the weight in if ya make it.our team name is "shadzilla" and we will be there wheather we weight or not. It does seem like the folks that fish these catfishing tourneys are willing to help NOT just to show off how fast their shinny boat will go!!I know I will catch hell from the bassholes for that!!!!heheheh

wish I could make it but I'm already booked up for most of the spring and early summer. this time of year ya'll should see a lot of big fish come into the scales and if I were ya'll I wouldn't let the worry of getting skunked prevent ya from entering the tourney cause it's just a lot of fun and the added excitement of the whole thing is kinda cool. catfishin competition is just fun all the way around. there's gonna be around 30 boats entered and someone's gotta be 5th 6th 7th and so on but it may be you that's #1 or #2. Sure won't be you if you don't enter.

Spud It will be at west tawakoni city park at 3:00 pm. last year tourny [winter] was put on by nttc and 218#s took first place. that is only weighing 5 fish......hoping to set a lake record again in this tourny there will be a lot of 50#ers at the scales!!!!!!

I wouldn't mind entering it but this has been the slowest year in the sign business I have had in 28 years, so the money won't be there. I'm just hoping I have enough for gas, cokes & some snacks to come watch.
