I am 35 y/o and live in Saginaw. I have been tube fishing for years. I currently own a u-shaped tube (don't know the brand--it wore off long ago!). I primarily fish in farm ponds in east Texas, Marine Creek, Ray Roberts, Fork, and Purtis Creek.
I actually have a little Skeeter, but I almost prefer my tube, if conditions allow. It is quieter and a lot less of a hassle. I have caught some really amazing numbers of fish, both with bass tackle and, recently, with fly tackle (which I use with very little skill!).
Like a lot of other tube fishermen, I am always looking for people to enjoy it with, so give me a shout.
By the way, I suspect that I am related to Custom30--is that my insane, tree-smashing boat driver cousin, Marc?
May your bass be fat and your women skinny.

Hey, I'm 37, live in Houston. Have had the same donut float tube from a small tackle shop in Austin for 15 years. Don't know the maker, just made of tough pvc type material. Only had to replace the tube one time!! I have found that this donut style tube is best for running or small waters, I.E. rivers, creeks and ponds. I have used it on big water and did not feel safe. If anyone else is in the houston area and interested, give me a reply and I will be glad to fish with them.

I am 57 yrs. old and presently live in Grand Prairie. I mainly bank fish and due to the fact that there is not to many places you can find to bank fish, I went to an inflatable just so i can try something different. I bought me a Sea eagle paddleski inflatable. Part canoe, part kayak, part pontoon boat. But waiting for my first chance to take it out. So i might see one of you out at one of the lakes. Especially if we don't get much rain and it leaves the boat ramps high and dry, I can still get out there and not have to worry about any boat traffic. I also own me a Godfrey 19 ft. Hurricane deck boat also, but it is also a hassle to take out.

I'm 43 and have been fishing from a tube for about 30 years. I live out in Jack county now and mainly fish Lost Creek, Jacksboro lake and Bryson. I also fish a couple really sweet farm tanks.
I've fished with a couple of the guys on here. I'm always ready to meet new fishing buddies. Give me a shout and we'll go check out one of my places or one of yours. Makes no difference to me.

Hello - my name is Stephen and I love to fish and hunt! (insert AA joke here)
I'm 44 and have "tried" to fish most fo my life. In the last year or so I purchased 2 U tubes a Fish Cat 4 and a Togiak - both of which have had minimal use! I meet up with Fishbrain (and my neighbor Mike came with me) out at the LBJ grasslands a year or so ago and we had a blast!
I have a 16 year old son (reason I bought 2 tubes) and would like to get him out some. I had purchased waders for a fly fishing trip (just started this also) so am getting some equipment put together for the tube. Am really interested in going out and really learning how to use these tubes to there fullest - the times I have been out were awesome - so quiet we could talk at a normal conversation level but were many yards apart! I am willing to drive some to meet up for a good day of fishing - let's get something going!
The difference between winners and losers: Winners blame themselves for their failures and strive to get better. Losers blame everybody else and give up.

Hey my name is Wendy. I'm soon to be 45. I live in Wise County and fish the grasslands, and up in Jacksboro quite a bit. I am interested in trying Amon Carter and Nocona more this year if gas prices stay reasonable. I have a tube and an inflatable canoe that I am growing quite fond of with the colder water temps. Santa got me a fly rod so I am excited about learning some new stuff this year. I have more freedom to fish than I did when the kids were little. For a long time I just baited hooks and untangled lines. It's a brand new world.....

Hi, my name is Wayne and have been a tuber for many years. I live is Wise county and fish mostly Grassland lakes, with the occasional adventure to Ray Bob, Amon Carter, and Moss Lake. The fact is, "fishbrain" would still be looking for Rhodes lake if it wasn't for me....ha ha ha

Grad school, work, and family have just kept me too busy to maintain it. Maybe in the future, though. Thanks for asking!
