Going to the lake this weekend (not for a tourney or anything).
I've never been there. Any advice would be appreciated.
Where do I put in? Some good starting spots? some good baits to throw?

The best ramp on the lake right now is Katies Woods. The courtesy dock is sitting in 1.5 ft of water but I had no problems with my skeeter as far as tieing off or picking anyone up at the dock. The lake is low, respect all the points, especially on the north shore, a couple of them come out shallow a pretty good ways. Caught bass on cranks and jigs, I would suggest running around and looking for the warmest water you can find that was key for me last Sunday.

I haven't been out there in a few months so not sure what the current pattern is. I would recommend launching at Katies Woods Boat Ramp, just west of the Gaylord. Good luck!
