Very professionaly executed. I use to be young and yak out my baits but got old and fat. I think spending the night on the beach with the big rods and cool friends and family are my fondest fishing memoreys.

ok, I can see using a kayak and good sized break-away weight system on fishing this, still can not figure out why the tape. Is it to cut down on glare from hook? is it to just keep the eye from tearing up that bonita? Can you buy bonita for bait or do you have to catch them?

I think the tape is to minimize electrical induction, since sharks can sense electricity and/or electric potential.
Did I get it right? What do I get for getting it right?

Did I get it right? What do I get for getting it right? You're close Zeek. It's called electroreception define as an acute sensitivity to electric fields. A shark can sense the stationary charge of the hook. Very cool!

I've never taped my hooks and get alot of hook ups. Im pretty sure crabs could cut threw the panty hose, but it might be worth a shot.
