Weather reports say 15 to 25 mph this weekend. Will that move the shad and the hybrids away from the south west side of the lake?

Probably move most of it over toward Tall Man's and the Woods. Still, if you get out there, go up to the spillway and get in 30-40 foot of water. There was a ton of bait up in there that might still be there.

So will the dam by the spillway block a 25 mph wind? And what about getting there from Holiday won't it be pretty rough or can I hug the south shore.

You have to watch hugging that south shore. Just east of Holiday there is a point that comes out very shallow a long ways. Once around it, you're pretty much OK to the spillway. But with the lake being low, you'll be either taking a chance to get over the point, or forced out into the rough to get around it.

The dam will help on a south to southeast wind. But 25mph...You won't be able to get very far away from it unless it's more easterly than south.

just before you get to holiday there is a road to the right that goes toward the spillway. it goes to a public ramp right by the spillway. use it all the time
