where is a good spot to put in at with a kayak

I kayak below Whitney fairly often. I used to go all the time. I concentrate on spots, smallies and blacks. There are very few deep pools, but there is one place which could hold a few stripers. Has anyone ever heard of them being caught below Whitney?

I have made the trip from the PK dam to 16 many times. I know the river is much different and has them there. Although, I believe the population isn't what it once was. I am glad to see they are still in there and seemingly doing well. Hopefully, the stockings of the last two years will start to spill over and keep the population healthy.

Indeed it is good to see them thrive on the Middle/Upper. You would be suprised at all the different runs that hold fish.
