Can anyone point a new tier to the correct sizes/colors, or any other tips to tie wooly buggers or other notable flies for the Blue River and Broken Bow areas? I have tied a few bigger ones, but I am sure they should be smaller for trout, right? BTW, I searched and I just could not find the information I was looking for specifically. Please help if you can. Thank you so much.

I have nothing at all to say about tying but I will say that I have had good success on #6 buggers for bass, and I've soremouthed a few trout on #12s this winter.

Y'all missed the most important part of Roger's question. He was asking about buggers for trout streams, not bass lakes. The best sizes for Beavers Bend and the Blue River are the smaller sizes, 12-14. Colors can be black, brown, olive or white. Go to this website: http://www.beaversbendflyshop.com/

I use a #12 for trout. Stick to muted colors like Cliff said. Black, brown, Olive with little if any flash. Tie a bunch as beadheads for that nice jiggy effect.

I will even tie them on a 2 or a 4 for the bass fishes. It eliminates the gills from picking it up.
It's more than the catfish would do.

#10's or #12's work best for me on trout. Olive or brown - a strip of flashbou down each side doesn't hurt either.

If you are tying them for trout, don't forget to tie a few in size 14 or 16 with beadheads in olive, black and sometimes purple of all colors. Don't know what it is about purple, but sometimes it works when other colors don't. Also tie a few with simple rabbit dubbing and no hackle...they work great.
