Looking for a carrying case to store my sonar/gps unit in while it is out of the the boat. Was hoping I could find something similar to a Plano box (safe and portable). Any suggestions?

I was looking for the same thing except I need one that will hold two. I haven't checked yet but harbor freight used to have some aluminum briefcase looking things that were foam lined. Or maybe a pistol case, dunno.. maybe sportsmans guide or cheaper than dirt.

I got a double unit holder from Cabela's. It is big enough for my 2 520s and the rams as well as a digital camera.

Might try a Camcorder Case, the softsided has worked for me. Didnt cost much and provides good protection.

I like the 28.99 camo aluminum hard gun case at Academy. Its Big enough for everything and more if needed. It even has locks like a briefcase.

Pezz,
I went to Academy today in Plano and they had about 6 of the cases there. It is called a Four-Pistol/Accessory Case. Protector series by Plano Outdoor Products. It is 16" X 6" X 14.5". $14.99.
