I have a lowrance 125 that I am thinking of using as a trolling motor mount install. Was wondering if anyone else has done this and if there are any special things to consider such as can I use the factory transducer? Thanks for any advice...

You can use either a puck or skimmer.

I mounted the skimmer on my trolling motor with a 3 in hose clamp with the mounting bracket that came with it. Works good! I have the X125 its a great unit for your trolling motor, i think
