I hope someone can answer this question about Grapevine Lake. I know sand bass are up creeks right now, but what I would like to know is when do they start moivng deep to the aerator. Thanks

My experience on Grapevine is that the sandies will not be consistant at the aerator until summer heats up pretty good. Otherwise, you should be able to find them in the next couple of weeks in open water. Just follow the birds, they will tell you where they are. Was out two weekends ago and found some birds working just East of Murrell Park. With the bluebonnets starting to bloom, the river spawning runs should be just about over. Hope this helps.

for some reason we had luck at the aerator in July and August, it will be interesting to see if they are there in May...
