Help. I've got a Champion 181 w/MotorGuide 24volt 74# thrust. On calm days speed one is too fast. My old one had a 12/24 switch but this one does not. Can one be installed?

I'd think that a TM shop would be able to replace a pre-set speed controller with a variable speed controller. Check with your local shop.

go to a three blade prop they are a lot slower then a two blade wall mart has switch over to motorguide they sell them
