I have an older Motorguide (most likely later 80's or early 90's). Everything works but is just seems way to loose. It is a foot control unit and it is very difficult to keep it pointed inthe right direction because it turns to easyily. Is there any way to tighten up that some how? I don't have the money to buy a new one so I want to fix this one.

Thanks in advance.

Call Texas Boat World in Harker Heights. They work on Motorguide and Minn Kota. They are very helpful and can probably answer your question.

My brother drives from San Antonio to Del Rio to use Jerry's services. Says he is the best TM guy in the state! Did not have contact info for you myself. Glad to see you are on TFF and have your email!
