It is located just north off Hamilton Tx on Hwy 281 ya'll ! http://www.dutchmans-hiddenvalley.com/I stopped there again on my way back home from my deer lease in Lampassas . I've been there many times as they are an old school , candy store , deli , meat market , deer processing etc ... They sell Beef ,Bison & Elk jerky and there German sausage, summer sausage, cheese , smoked bacon & Hot pork sausage is to die for ! Also try a Ruben on rye with saurcraut or a peppered corned beef sandwich with dill pickles ! Mmmmmm Good They have Toys, antiques, kitchen utensils, souvenirs, knick-knacks, and homemade candy are just some of the things on Wenzel's shelves. He has one whole wall filled with nothing but Texas products from prickly pear pickles to fresh clover honey. His wife Sharla can do all of your special need baskets year round. There is always a fresh pot of coffee on and it's okay to stop just to use the restroom and say howdy."

Thats sounds like a hell of a deal and just the place I like. I'll try them out next time I'm out that way.
Thanks.

I bet I have driven by there 50 times over the last 20 years and have never stopped.
Thanks, you have given me a reason to stop.

Brings back good memories of past road trips in that neck of the woods. I wonder how long that place has been there. First time I went by there was in the late '70s, and I think it was already a famous old place then. The folks working there were always real friendly.

That place is like a Stuckies, but with no interstate highway out front. Talk about the middle of nowhere, lol. I used to take my son down to SanSaba with me. We'd always stop there and get him some ice cream and candy.
