For those of you who would like to see it, this web site is totally awesome. I used it to find several ponds in the Austin area that I didn't know about. Now to see if they are accessible to the public... http://www.flashearth.com

Thanks! It's also a great tool.
Is there any way to have the street names show up? It's possible to do that at FlashEarth, but the pics on google earth are such higher quality that I would like to be able to see what steets to turn on when trying to access these places.
Please let me know if google earth has this feature. I really like it! If it doesn't, perhaps I can look up the water on google earth and look up the roads on flashearth.

Just thought I'd mention this:
I checked the box that said "roads" and nothing happened. Do I have to pay extra for that?

Tom, I love in Kyle and have a couple ponds to fish. What part of Austin are you in?

Way out near lake Travis, but I hate the thought of paying $8 just to use it for a couple hours. I only get to go fishing on weekends so Kyle might not be too bad for a weekend trip. I've been going to the Guadalupe lately, so it's less gas at any rate.

The Sat. Map is about a 1996 or so map. Dell Computer in Round Rock, is in the process of building building 1 on this map. I would like to find one that is current. If anyone knows of one, please let me know. Thank you, Emmett

If anyone knows of one, please let me know. Thank you, Emmett When Google Earth first came out, it spread across work so quickly that we crashed the system. The IT gods shut it down so we can't use it any more. It took me a while to figure out that the Vine is flooded in the photos.
