How are you guys rigging using salmon eggs? weight below hook or hook below weight. Does anyone know the stocking dates for
Greenbriar and the Trinty?

Rooster tails have been working great! And it's so much more fun then just letting the bait sit there. I recommend bringing 2 poles, rig one with bait (for your dinner) and one with a 1/16 or 1/24 oz spinner (choose color based on water)and cast and retrieve. It's a blast, and I bet at least once you'll get to see a trout attack the lure (if it's clear water), and nothing beats that...even a trout dinner IMHO.

1/8oz split shot, 18" above hook.
#12 single salmon-egg hook
4-6# test.
cast up current, drift down, string trout, eat trout thumb

Tarrant Water District stocked trinity in Ft Worth today at River Park. I am heading out that way in a few.
