I am a Ford Parts Manager of 28 years and have come across this many times and it also happened to my 03 expedition. Do not use computer burned cd's in the player and also make sure the cd's aren't cracked. These two are the most common problems that I have found when I retreived the cd's out of the players. My Jimmy Buffet CD had a small crack in it and the changer just ate it. That made me a little ticked to say the least. Hope this helps. The Radio places charge around $375 to exchange your radio and I have fixed them for 25 bucks quite a few times.
