Anyone doing any good at GV? I fished the marina at Twin Coves on Friday and just managed a couple. They just don't seem to be in the normal places that I've caught them in the past. A couple other guys fishing the docks said the same thing. Must still be a little cold for them.

Try deep 25 to 35ft of water, and spider rigging will do the trick.

I have a trained LMB out there on DeVine. He finds the biggest crappie he can get and brings it back to the boat for me. eeks

Yeah, sure. hmmm this is the only way I've been catching them lately.

Holy cow, that is amazing! Did you take that yourself?

It's hard to feel sorry for someone with one leg who shoots himself in the foot.

Yes, Matthew. Here's the link to last weeks post on it. We don't want to overrun this fellows thread.

almost happen to me at ray bob fishing the docks. caught a small crappie and about to pull in the little guy when a big dark shadow came out of nowhere and tried to inhale him. it was lmb abt 9lbs im guessing. crappie was a keeper but i doubt the lmb was .

If I'm lucky I'll die with a 7' spinning rod in my hand.
