Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Just one today 14 Incher Slip Bobber and Minnow Try again in the AM Walleye, can I ask you why you like to fish with a slip bobber in the slip? Is it just to regulate your depth or do you use it to help you detect a strike, or both? I always just vertical jig or pitch and jig in my slips.

Paying my dues tomorrow. And fishing, before the next freeze blast arrives Thursday/Friday.
Wish me luck!

Just one today 14 Incher Slip Bobber and Minnow Try again in the AM You need to jig artifcials and ditch the minners this time of the year. You'll catch more and won't sit there just freezin' your hiney.

Gotcha. I am usually standing and moving around a lot. Good idea on your part! All I ever do, Stuck. Keeps me warmer by moving around and helps me cover more ground being mobile. Coveralls are nice as well. Primo, Gordon is trying to fix your light. In case you noticed.

Nice mess of Crappie!!! Here's a Catfish I caught out of yalls slip last August. Not trying to take away from your more impressive catch just wanted to show whats down there. I let her go right where I caught her. Caught it on a 7 inch Blue Fleck Power Worm.

Dang Monte, I am glade you put her back. I am trying to practice my noodling under the ramp there.
