Anyone know who is doing the construction along northwest hwy or what it is going to do to white rock creek? Googling has yet to reveal any info on the project or the contractor? just curious

i was in my Fish-Cat boat and saw where the run off hits the creek. the muddy water hits the clear water, but it mixes and turns clear 10 yards down stream.... caught some nice slabs there. 13 ft of water where it dumps into white rock creek. looks like they are building more apt's.

I have seen that also... I think that it is on the left hand side if you were coming from the freeway. I was wondering the same thing. hmmm

They are installing underground links between the small feeder creeks.

Northwest Highway from Lawther to Buckner is going to be raised out of the the flood plane. I believe it will be about 8 feet higher than it is now all the bridges will be torn down and rebuilt. I am not sure if the final plans had earth banks or concrete walls. Should take a couple of years

WHO CARES. THE FISH THERE AREN"T SUITABLE FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. THAT PLACE IS ONLY GOOD FOR CATCHING SHAD TO FISH REAL LAKES.

i like the crappie from WR better than any other lake... they are sweeter tasting than the other lakes........if you can catch them.....I agree with "getreal"

good tasting crappie there for sure..if you think they are good try a 6-10 lb buffalo from there .they are even better ! if im lying im dying

Actually he is correct, they are contaminated. Don't eat nothing from that creek, hell don't even fish their. They will mess you up. Stay the F away.
