I went to the lake around 10am. tried several spots expermented with a couple new jig color combinations found the darker colors work well, I did not want to waste minnows so I slow drifted and low and behold the crappie were pulling the tips of my 9ft, rods under the water, it was kinda slow I only ended up with 19 keeper crappie and 4 catfish. Pictures should be soon a friend of mine will post them for me I have them in my cell ph. I will be getting a digital camera soon. Hope to see everyone on the water somewhere soon.

Can you still use the one and only ramp that was open?

Nice Catch Pat! I got the pics you sent me on my cell phone EARLY this morning! Those were some HUGE slabs! How big was that biggest one in the pic? It had to be well over 2lbs because I'm sure the one next to it was close to 11 inches. I gotta get out there with you soon bro. Was that your home lake?

There are plenty more fish where those came from I just spend a lot of time on the water learning how to fish, different areas and techniques dicussed on the Forum, YouTube and Fish TV the best of all is a lot of humble people willing to share a lot of good information just hoping to pass it on.
