So I guess I am all alone on LBJ. I have never fished granger but LBJ holds some good crappie as long as your not there on nice weather days (above 85) then you got to fight all the pleaser boats.

I try to fish LBJ several times a year. I'm new to crappie fishing and still scouting for those hot spots. I've been fishing mainly in the Colorado from the bridge to the Inks Dam.

Easy pickin's around underwater lights in summer night time. Minnows under a cork or roadrunners in the shadows. You will hang a lot of sand bass, too.

The one that is across from the marina in kingsland as you are heading from the inks dam to the main lake right as you pass the brige there to the left they also sell menners there

Many years ago I used to catch a bunch of whites near that dock. Never caught any crappie however.

yea if you go late feb you can catch a mess of whites but right now all the whites that we catch are down near the plant. Both of the briges are good to catch good numbers of crappie right now

If we go at night the green light is with us. I fish the bridge on the colorado and the lanno on the colorado we fish the 3rd and 4th pole from the fishing house we have put lots of brush in but the floods that we had last year wiped out lots of it the lanno bridge we fish the 2nd and 3rd poles from the left side if your in the main lake. We mix it up on baits minnows dont work use jigs that dont work go back to minnows. fish from 18' and work your way up till you find them
