Went to Lewisville this morning, notice there are few marked fish when I landed them. One fish has broad black marker on the lower part of the tail, and the other one has black stripe under the chin.
I read from TFF that there are some ppl mark their fish before release them. PM me if you mark those fish (just out of curiosity)

I was just trying to be different. I know Ernest marks his straight from the nose and down the spine so I figured I'll do a different marking. Those were a few test ones I did but I have finally decided to just settle with putting nose-rings in the fish I release from now on.

Couldn't have been mine. I normally mark them with a fillet knife, cornmeal and peanut oil.

Did you happen catch any that had a ring mark around thier eye thats my mark. I always mark the left eye as you look at them from the front. What I find hard is waiting for the mark to dry. Your not keeping the mark ones are you. If you are keeping them please let know if you catch with the circle around the left eye only. If you catch any with both eyes marked then thats my cousins mark we call them specs. Good fishing.

I did not keep any of the "marked" fish, they are all too small anyway.
I will keep eyes on the nose/eye rings fish next time.
