If anyone is interested in joining the private fishing group on Eagle Mountain at Lakeview Marina now is the time. If you want a private area to come and fish in quiet comfort where the crappie fishing is hot this is what you are looking for. It is going to be a maximum of 20 people in a private 14x40 slip with its own private 14x14 deck for lounging. No more standing shoulder to shoulder to fish. The cost is $300 per person per year. If you are interested please call the onsite coordinator Gordon. Currently we are a little more then half full.
Gordon - 817-343-7456
***** To the guys who were here last year, please contact Gordon to make this years payment and swap keys. I guarantee you are going to like this spot better. It is MUCH more privat,MUCH more room, and ALL shaded. There have been a few trees sunk already, and once the group is together you can put a few more in. I promise you guys are really going to like this change. Thanks everyone.

Josh,
Was out there this morning and spoke to Gordon and Don. So I'm assuming I pay Gordon now instead of you. He said I can still pay 1/2 up front-1/2 later like you and I had in our agreement.
I was a little 'iffy' at first, but looked over there awhile and thought, "why not?". As long as the water depth is similar and from the sound of things, we'll get to have a cleaning table, sitting table, maybe a coffee pot, etc, I decided it was worth it and slightly cheaper than now.
Plus, I like the idea of shading the place off from the wind in the Winter, the sun in the Summer, plus heard a fan may be put in for the hot Summer. So that's cool...as is getting away from the boat ramp/traffic and people hopping on/off the slip string we're fishing.
So I'm in and told Gordon I'd pay up 1/2-2/3 of the payment this week, then the rest before the Summer.
Talk soon and have a good day.

Eric,
It is actually a little deeper over at that new spot. Yes, Gordon is collecting the money. It is less this year with the new set up. However, the full amount is due up front. Did Gordon tell you that he caught one last week that was only 2 ounces shy of the lake record? It was a monster. I wish I would have gotten a picture before he cleaned it. Give me a call if you have any questions.

Everyone,
We are FULL. Thank you for your interest. Please ONLY call Gordon if you want to be on the waiting list. We are finalizing everything and may end up with one or two more spots left, but as of now we are full. I will post here again if anything changes. Thank you all so much.

Primo,
We have 16 confirmed, but Gordon had not talked to all of the guys from last year so I told him not to take anymore until we are sure of which of you guys are returning or not. If you have not talked to Gordon please give him a call so he has you confirmed. He has all the info. I was thinking of having a quick get together before we kick off so everyone can try to meet and know who is in the group.

PM sent Josh.
Also wanted to know if you still stand by your 6-month trial, as we did with the first location (meaning, you can have an 'out' if not satisified).
Doubt I'd do that, but in case I have to move for my job, etc...that'd be nice. This came out of left field to the remaining group of us after our talk last month. Admittingly, it caught me off-guard,but understand your position.

Primo,
Yeah, more I discussed with Gordon and Josh, the more I liked the idea of bigger slips and being away from the boat ramp, especially during the warm season when the joy riders/jet skiers are in abundance.
Yeah, Gordon told me about some of the additions. I'm going to fish the old slips tomorrow, but if they need a hand, told them I'll help when I can(after some fishing).
As for the measuring devices, I trush my Fish Taco that I take with me.
I'll ask them about the trash cans tomorrow. I can roll by Wal-Mart and buy a few 5 gallon jobbers and pull-string bags if needed.
