Just put a Low 510 on my front and have a 15Mt on console. I was thinking of running at speed the 15mt @ 50 hz to get a larger field of view and the 510c on the TM @ 200hz to get detail and bottom hardness.

Does the 50hz cover that much more around the boat and help locate schools or should I just run 200 on both and switch one off when moving from console to TM.

Trying to locate schooling stripers better

Nothing worse than a limp rod

The 50 kHz will be about a 34 cone while the 200 can be a 12 or 20 depending on the xducer. Either way you will have about twice the coverage with the 50 and they shouldn't interfer with each other.
