Just wondering if anyone has fished the pond since TPW started stocking trout? I went out a couple of months ago and caught three cats but haven't been back since.

I see too that they stock trout there but have never been. I'm looking to go to Canyon lake Trailrace area. I've been curious to find out if anyone is catching any trout. Keep us posted if you do.

Stopped by there this morning and there were quite a few people fishing. Did not fish and saw only one trout landed. Nice park though!

I've been meaning to go give it a shot but seems like something always comes up. I am working this weekend but have a 3 day weekend next week. If the info on TPWD website is correct they should be stocking next week. I am going to try to make it out next Friday and will post how I do.

headed to canyon lake tomorrow. may try to take my fly rod to metro park on sunday just to see what's there. keep us posted.
