Looks great, I have been thinking about that same design with the floor plates ( used them for my extended GPS puck mount) & angle. I am plsnning on putting Bee Ready adjustable holders on mine.
A bad day on the lake is much better than a good day at work!

Now that's some good engineering.  Looks like a RED-GREEN project, just missing duct tape. Like he say's "If the women don't find you handsome they should at least find you handy".

"CrappieKiller" has that same rig for sale except he welds the angle iron to the top of the riser instead of clamping it. (I use the ones he makes on my boat) He used to post on this forum when he lived in the DFW area about 5 years ago. He moved back home and has his own website/forum/store for that region. http://www.thecrappiekiller.com/killer_stuff.html

Hey Silvia, Which section of Home Depot or Lowes did you find those mounting plates? Also, where did you buy the rod holders?
