I'm looking at the Falcons for the 1st time. I do love the Shimano Crucials but am unable to find them in a MH with XF tip in the 6' length.

Any and all input appreciated. cheers

Give the St. Croix Mojo Bass lineup of rods a look-see....

For $120 you could go to the Premier series in a St. Croix. I've used them for a while now and have always been happy with them. I did just pick up one of the Mojo's but in Heavy/Fast for Frogging.

Rod Riot is at Academy Sports. They happen 4-5 times a year. Keep a lookout on the sale ads and also here on TFF. Someone always let you know when it's on. You can get Low Riders for 69 bucks, and Caras for 99.

I own 4 lowriders, and will be switching out a few more once the rod riot hits. I honestly think more people would buy them if they were 200 dollars and had some big name sponsor using them....the value perception thing. But don't tell them that! I was going to buy a carrot stix rod, but since I had mixed reviews, and solid experience with lowriders, I stuck with falcon and bought 50 bucks in lucky craft lures with the difference!

Aside from a few Daiwa rods that are technique specific the rest of mine are Falcon Caras...they used to be Lowriders until I got a Cara. Then I had to change. Either way you cannot go wrong with Falcon.

Look on Ebay there is a fella from Cleveland TX that sells Falcons at a discounted rate. He is a authorized dealer.

I have twenty some odd falcons and would put them up against anything on the market.
