Cold weather gives that [censored] some monster memory, but you can dang near tow a boat w/ P-line 15lb xtra-tough!

Ed sometimes wakes up early on an event morning, goes outside and ties the end to the dock, and walks of about 75 yards of it. He then engages the spool and pulls and holds the line with tension on it for about 30 seconds. This really helps the memory problem during the cold weather.

It's definetly a love / hate relationship w/ P-line.

p line has never given me a problem with moister are anything else, then again I only use the braid. Try spooling it on a little tighter that might work. good fishing and god bless ,remember www.tightlinetournaments.com

As said, Pline CXX is simply the strongest and toughest line out there. Even with modern science, you can't make a soft line that has abrasion resistance and low stretch. There is absolutely no need to go above 15lb CXX in my opinion, and there is a big difference between the 15 and 17lb tests. 17lb is like a slinky, but 15 and under is just fine after a few casts. If CXX was chewing tabacco, it would be Copenhagen if you no what I mean.

Make mine P-Line Evolution, as it has greater tensile strength, and is less prone to pig-tailing.

my dad and I use pline evolution 20# on a shimano 7'hvy rod, shimano gt200 reel with 350 yd capacity for tarpon fishing in costa rica and love it. boat 125-150# fish and never a problem with the line. It's rigged with a 4-5' bimini and 4' 100# leader.

I have used P-Line fluoroclear for about 4 years now and I have not broke off but maybe twice in that time. I never have paid much attention to the line carrying water. The braid is well worth the money too. Everybody has there preference.
