if you got a jugline how are you supposed to mark it if it is a fairly used jug?

i mean how do you make sure it's yours?

You know it is yours by having it marked with your name, address and date.

You might want to put a little colored reflective tape on it so you will know yours from others without having to pick it up.

I use comet to clean up my jugs, old dates & other marks.
I also spray paint the inside of me clear jugs & then fill them with styro foam peanuts. This keeps them floating so that you can salvage your equipment after your speed boats, water skiers & even jet skis run over them and either bust or cut the jugs.
I have even watched pontoon boats run them down.

i wrap my just on the top with some red reflective tape or blue or green or silver.
As long as it is reflective. I like to jug fish at night in summer and that makes it easy to find

I tag mine directly on the jug with a sharpie marker. The date is done smaller so I can wipe it off with some abrasive scrub if I ever run out of room.

I bought some bicycle reflective tape at Academy to mark my jugs with. It's a lifesaver if you go in the night or early morning with fog.

I spray the inside of clear jugs with white reflective spray paint, won't scrape when I wrap the line around it. I sharpied my name and address directly on the bottle and I use a small peice of duct dape to sharpie the date on each time I go out. I GPS my jugs when I drop them off so it helps a little since I do some at night.

I don't use paint cuz it flakes off. Learned that the hard way. I just wrap them with white duck tape. Someone had mentioned before using that spray foam to fill them. I haven't tried that yet but I think I'm going to.

I tried the foam insulation (HOT STUFF) and could not get it to stiffin up inside the bottle because of the small neck or opening on the jug. it could not breath enought and stayed liquid.
Spray paint the inside of the jugs not the outside.

if u use clear jugs, anywhite paint on the inside will work, or just put a piece of white printer paper inside and your entire jug looks white!

To use the spray foam insulation wet the inside of bottle before filling about 2/3 full with foam. I drill a hole in a board to screw the bottle in and hold while filling this keeps the foam off the outside of bottle
