Went to Lake Texoma this morning with Ernest and Guy, met up with Brian Spagnola and it was non-stop for about 3 1/2 to 4 hours...
My guess is well over 500 fish for the 4 of us... That's with 2 well deserved breaks....
Guy took a few pics I hope he'll post later (Guy took 22 quailty fish home) all the rest were released to be caught at a later date...
Thanks again Brian.....
Matthew

Thank you Mr Jigum.

Good brandy, good jigs, good fish, good friends, and a WHOLE lotta bs. Poor Guy had to ride all the way to Carrollton listening to Ernest and Matthew argue over who got the biggest fish.
It was a good sign when one hour in Ernest had 70 and never re tied a jig all day.

Guy also leaned into about a 6-8lb striper.

All in all, not a bad day. Dont expect to hear from Mr Paty tonight since he wanted to rush home to watch the cowboys.

Wow, what a lake. Wish the fish at "The Office" were that size, and of course I caught the biggest CRAPPIE. We don't count those trash fish.

All Guy had to listen to on the way home was the awful snoring coming from Matt. sleep

Thanks again Brian.

Nice Ernest. How much did the biggest Crappie weigh?

Guy, glad you finally got to fish Texoma.

Brian is a class act and one of, if not the most unselfish and greatest guys I have met. Here's to you Brian and all that you do. Looking forward to fishing with you soon.

What a day you all had. Wish I had been there. The weather looked nice out today considering we are in the last week of 2008. You guys are finishing up the year in style for sure! clap Now, where are the pics?

I'd like to thank Brian also. I stopped by to fish with him for about 3 hours on my way home from visiting family in Kansas. Dee and I caught ALOT of fish. Brought home 5 for dinner tomorrow night. Wish I coulda gotten there a little sooner to see Matthew, Ernest and Guy in action. Maybe next time. They do have some quality fish in Texoma. Even the dinks were fat and ferocious. Thanks again Brian and I will definitely see ya in a couple of weeks. Here is a pic of the 5 fish fish that Ernest, Guy and Matthew didn't catch and left for me and DBwoman:

Sounds like you guys had a blast. It was a great day to be fishing, wish I would have been out today. Did yall catch all of them in the slips? I had to stick around the house today and cook for my mom and dad, which I didn't mind they are both in their late 80's so I am just happy that I still can. I plan on going out on Ray Roberts in the morning and giving the crappie a try. I hope my boat still floats.

Brian,

I really missed out - thanks for the invite and from the posts it feels like salt being rubbed into a cut but my fault for not being able to get out there. bang

We'll get together some time; it's just been tough to free up time.

Thanks again, hi to Sherry.

I'll second that....THANKS BRIAN. Now that was 'slip fishing' at it's finest. The weather could have been a bit warmer (25 degrees), but the fishing was hot. We go there about 0730 and the catching was non-stop until we left at about 1230. And Brian, I have to echo what Ernest said...all we heard out of Matt was snoring, after he ate that Sonic burger. Thanks again Brian. You're hospitality is only surpassed by your fishing thumb

Here is what I took home. The fish on the bottom is 12"

Matt with what he said was "his" big one. You can see how happy he was about it

This striper took my jig and made it very interesting until Brian lipped him. Also, please pardon the two goofy looking guys in this pic...but it was cold

Don't tell Matt, but this was "the" big fish of the day

Nice looking jacket Matthew...I got one just like it!!!

My office fish may have been bigger than either one of those...Quite a drop off after that tho...

Great fish as usual...
