It's only money. They are sweet looking reels and alot liter than the old model. I would like to have one but ill keep fishing with the old ones for a while.

i agree with catch n release. the new ones r awesome but i have two kids and cant afford 300 right now. if i could i'd have three of each right now!! lol

I played with the new PT Tour in the San Antonio BPS and liked the feel but didn't want to pay the money so I bought a new PT Energy and it is an awesome reel. I put some 12lb flourocarbon line on it and it out cast my Del Sol throwing weightless trick worms. I am very impressed.

I got a chance to handle the regular new pt today the and the liter weight is awesome and the reel is super smooth. I am going to have to get a couple of them. I know I said its only money but can any of you guys spare a little cause I got to have one. lol
