Don (Slip 457) and I cleaned 56 fish Saturday (from various contributors). Fish were being caught up and down water column as Jason said on minnows and jigs. Lots of folks out on Saturday however, this morning only 4 of us stuck it out for a few hours yielding 22 keepers. Much better than last year at this time.

Earnest fogot to get the jigs from you Saturday at the Office.. You say I can order them from Jig ums... whats the real web site... Like the bent hooks too... the ones you gave Clark.. what do I call them to place a order... Yes I caught more fish Friday and Saturday (crappie) than I caught all last year.. 200 to get 60 keeper

You guys are into them good... I was a member last year, and it wasn't anything like what I am hearing this year....More power to you. Enjoy while you can, I guess my timing was bad then, but that's how it goes sometimes... Now I have to seek other places to make up...heheh

they were fairly deep today (15ish), but also caught a few 5 or 6 feet down while dropping the jig
caught lots of small fish and a couple nice ones. those bigger ones sure feel good after catching so many 9 7/8" fish
you may have noticed, but it was a little chilly out there

Stayed until 10:45 today and glad I did. Slow early, caught 63 , mostly after 9: am, Had about 20+ keepers. Were hitting good when I left. Too cold.

When to the office earlier today (about 0900) and was into the action solid until 1130 when I left. Didn't keep count of the number of fish caught, but most of them were keepers. If you go, move your jig slowly and when you get bit, believe me...you'll know it.

Best day this year. 80 caught with 30 keepers by 10: AM. Really good action. Best jig was "Grasshopper" by Jigum. "Pup" also good until I lost it.
