I put out a wanted item for a good used trailer for my area. (On CRAIGSLIST) Anyway I thought maybe I could find a good used trailer, so I won't have to spend the rest of my donations, and then some... on just buying a new trailer.

I think I found a replacement trailer.

No we do not have a replacement trailer yet. The one in Ft. Worth fell through. It was too large. So I am still looking for a good used one, preferably in my area. If I cannot Mike showed me a good little one on a Northern Tool site...it is 389 bucks. I hate to go that route, but may have to. I will give it a little more time. If I have not found one by Christmas, I guess I will have to get the new one. A set back for sure...but things happen don't they....

Okay you guys can stop looking at Craigslist, and the local papers etc...I am getting a new boat trailer from Northern Tools. (thanks to a wonderful TFF anonymous donor...who wishes to remain anonymous) It will take several days to come in....but I should probably have it in less than two weeks. This is just thrilling and I should be on the water soon. I am not sure if Mike posted the link to it on here, but that is the one I am gonna be getting. Thank you all for your help in this endeavor. I am sure his wife is ready for me to get that boat outta their yard!

Not counting your boat Kelly, my yard contains 1 riding mower, 1 jeep (not running), 2 trucks, 2 cars, 1 4x8 trailer, 1 16' bass boat and whatever garbage the dog managed to drag home, I really dont think she has noticed your boat.

Oh well now I don't feel too bad. The new trailer will get here in several days probably. Then at least we can get it together and get the boat. I will have to get it all registered.

Hey lysdectic, I am waiting on the holidays to pass before I get any more stuff for the boat. I don't want to buy something I may get as a gift. (I have a good chance of getting something for the boat from by best friend) So far I have a battery charger, a depth finder, and a trolling motor...but the trolling motor needs to be a transom mount...someone offered me another trolling motor. Anyway...the trailer is on the way, and it was ordered. That is the latest update. I have some money to get some more items that people donated to me. It won't be long now. I am thinking of seeing what all is needed, and then I think I may have enough money for paint, but I have no idea how much stuff I will need to prep, and paint the boat. I have not come up with a name for the boat. I will probably name it after I see what it is like for a little while.

well you should be able to do at least two by the...especially if you are looking at that animated knot site...I am not challenged myself...but that site did help me.
