Hi
I have a friend that is looking to hit Ray Roberts. He wanted me to show him some spots and I did on Google Maps and then I remembered a site posted here on TFF. TexasLakeMaps or something similar it has lakes and markers with named lake landmarks but I cannot find post with link.
Do any of you know what the site is htat I am talking about?

Thanks

Mark,
I think it was LoneStarLakes.com but the site does not have as many waypoints as I remember.

Hi Mark. The link on LoneStarLakes is http://www.lonestarlakes.com/map/guestmap.php?map=rayroberts
This one does not have as many waypoints as the one for Lewisville on the same site but may give you a little to go on.

Hey Bama, this is sure a strange website. I cannot seem to navigate to the map for Lewisville of Ray Roberts when I get on the site. I usually just change the last part of the url address from http://www.lonestarlakes.com/map/guestmap.php?map=rayroberts to http://www.lonestarlakes.com/map/guestmap.php?map=lewisville and change to pull the lake up. The only thing I can ever find on that site is some old forums and a link to a standard satellite shot of the lake, minus the waypoints that people have inputed. Very strange way to navigate on that site.

I liked the site better before they changed it a couple of years ago. Your right. I just use the tools at the top left of the map toward the bottom of the index page, then zoom in on whatever lake I want to look at. I liked it way better before the "upgrade". bang

hmmm, would this be a good enhancement or feature to add to TFF? Would solve a lot of the "where is the gravel pits?" and "where is deadmans point?". And Im sure it would be very functional here.

The best map I have seen for Ray Bob (other than Navionics chip) is the Martin's Map. Might want to check it out. Or if you are in the Little Elm area, I will let you borrow mine. It is an AWESOME map.

Bama,

The map for Ray Roberts is two pages, both sides, and comes laminated. You are welcome to borrow mine if you want.
