See the MAIN MENU at the left, then click on Guides/Destinations then click on the W and find Whitney guides. Randy Routh, Mark Parker and Ernest Wilson are listed there. Add Mike Acosta of Unfair Advantage Charters - his number is 817-578-0023. Note: Randy is in Kansas right now deer hunting so he may or may not answer his phone/email. FYI - it's striper with one R. The 2 R spelling is the ladies who take their clothes off or the product used to take paint off a surface.

i mean stripper instead of hybrid This time of year with the weather getting too cold to fish, I would much rather a stripper than hybrids, myself.

Thanks Redfin. I'm back from Kansas and back to fishing. Whitneys hot right now, love to have ya down. Finally the water temps have dropped and no more live bait. All artificials, slabs and soft plastics. Means I don't have to get up at 1 a.m. and go catch bait. Here's a recent catch ot two. What I brought home from Kansas! Hit me either on my cell or home# Cell 817-822-5539 hm# 254-582-5970

Thanks Redfin. Finally the water temps have dropped and no more live bait. Just wondering, I cast net for shad too, is there a "ideal" size for the Whitney Stripers? I catch a bunch of 1.2-2" and few 3+ in. What size is best and what hook size/circle?
Nothing worse than a limp rod

You would be looking for, 4 to 6 in shad for stripers. Fishing with 2 in shad, the white bass will kill you. Really try and stay around that 5 to 6 in mark.
