Looking to hit the lake this weekend, how is the water level and the boat ramps. I have a 22' Deckboat so I need a little water.

Thanks,
SportFisher

If you're going out on Sunday then be prepared for some strong winds.

Yep Opus, I love my 22' Deckboat, all the comforts and a fishing deck on the front. We love to take it Canyon Lake for some tubing and swimming. I haven't had to get wet yet to load or unload it, but my son has. I'm getting the hang of loading it now, so hopefully we won't get we too often.

Southernboy, changed my plans after checking out the wind forcast, but hopefully the water is up so I'll be ready when the weather is. Decided to go out to my new property in River Chase, New Braunfels and then took the dogs to the 58 acre park there on the river, had a great day today.

See ya on the water,
SportFisher

The ramps are better than a few weeks ago. Watch all the other stuff in the lake though. I lost a prop on a rock today fishing a spot that I have been too before. Was backing out and hit a rock that had never before been in play...it is now!

Well, I guess the wind forecast changed a bit so I hope that those of you that made it out to Cally today caught lots of fish. Reports please! As for me, my boat is down for two or three weeks for much needed maintenance. Changed out the bunk boards on the trailer today and have some new side bunk boards to put on later. Then it's repaint the boat.

Good fishin to all and have a Happy Holidays.

Well, gonna try it again on Friday...suppose to be 77 degrees with 6 mph winds.

I called the Lake today and they said the deep water ramp was open and they haven't had any problems with folks dropping off the end. I'm still not backing up past the yellow ramp line, guess my son will have to push me off if needed.

If the weather holds true and anyone is out there, give me a yell if you see me out there. I'm sure you couldn't miss me!

See ya on the water,
