i think you guys should raise the entry back to $50...a lot of guys wont make the drive from dallas etc for such a small payback..i will still fish, but even a $75 entry fee would be more like it

I will prolly fish but it would make it more worth while for others to drive farther.

charlie is runnin' this one so it's up to him, but I think you guys are misunderstanding something.... originally, it was $50, BUT, 80% payback. Now it's $30 but 100% payback. It should come out around the same on the payback.
Originally, it was going to be an open paying 80% back and the 20% was going to go towards scales for the new Poorman's East division starting in '09, however, someone donated scales, so Charlie decided to make it 100% payback and lower the entry a little to see if he could get more boats out there.

No problem, just wanted to make sure everyone realized this since "payback" was mentioned and it really hasn't changed. I wish I could be there, but my daughters b-day is the 13th, Welsh in mid-December, especially after this cold weather should be ON!!
