One thing I have learned is to make a bill of sale and keep a cpoy. Write down all serial numbers and trailer plate number. I sold one through this forum and having trouble from the new owner.

The boat, motor, and trailer are all seperate. you will need titles for the boat and motor. The trailer you can sell as a home made trailer.

Go to the tpwd site, there is paperwork that needs to be completed by both parties if you sell to another TX resident.
I do agree w/ the bill of sale advice too. Google "Bill of Sale" and you will find forms already made up for you to print off.
Good luck w/ the sales. If you sale on the internet make sure you get lots of pictures, that is a big plus!

in a court of law it may not hold up, but anytime i sell one i draw up a as is, where is contract and have the buyer sign it.
Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.
