Caught her on the 3rd cast of the day in about 45' of water on a 10" motor oil red power worm. Caught it in Castle Canyon around 3:00 pm on Friday. The reason that all the rod boxes are open is because I could not find my scales! I was in a panic because she came out of such deep water I wanted to get her back in ASAP. I did have a hypodermic needle on board but I had never fizzed a fish before and didn't want to make her my experiment! Thankfully, she went straight back down. I stayed around awhile to make sure she didn't resurface. I did manage to find my scales in my rod boxes. It slid up the very front of the boat. I guess that is what happens when you don't use them very often. I plan on getting a fiberglass replica made. The length was 24.5 and girth was 18.5.
