wondering if anybody had tried the creek that feeds joe pool and runs under 661? been up here in okie land goin to school and ill be comin back to town for thanksgiving. i have caught alot of fish out of that creek in december but wondering if the crappie are in there yet. any info is much appreciated.

I havent been down 661 but from what I have been told not too many cars parked on the side of the road.
I will be going down 661 tomorrow.

fish aren't down there yet still in the main creeks on joe pool. need more rain for them to be there creeks are really shallow

Some cooler weather is what we need.I go by there on way home from work every day.A few vehicles are showing up.Dont think we are there yet....and yes a little more water would be nice

This creek is very shallow at the bridge..dont let thegepth at the bt

didnt mean to submit that yet......at the bridge it is shallow...as you walk towards lake it gets deeper and wider..on the north side you can walk all the way up into Britton Park.On the south side you can walk up to where another creek intersects.I think a lttle more water would be nice.Colder weather is what Im waiting on....dont forget about Walnut Creek drawback is its accessible for 10 bucks thru Loyd Park....has more water is deeper etc.......

Hit Crrek today had 45 min to fish after walk.....13 crappie 2 keepers,2 came off hook lifting them out(keepers for sure) 1 black bass....Keepers were released..caught on brown/orange tube and anything I had that had chartruese on it (Jigums)...Going for keeps next time....

Forgot to add jig under cork 12"-14" near bank in water about 18" to about 3'......

Went today also, caught a bunch but all too small. A couple almost big enough. Black head chartreuse tail and a pink tube jig were the two I used today. North side. Went close to the lake but best bite was closer to 661. Too windy closer to lake. They were all close to the bank and small stick ups and stumps in 6" to a foot of water.
Put the plug in.
