Hi Everyone,
New to the forum! I wanted to know if any of you had any suggestions for some girly fishing supplies? Call me a girl but I still like my pink and purple :-). Anyone know where I could get me and some of my friends some fishing supplies for women?

All fishing supplies can be "girly" -- it's all about how you look at it.
Good rods, with neat guides, reel seats, fancy "butt wraps" (can be either "girly" or "gay" - take your pick). Well made reels that are so smooth. All the various lures, with all those pretty colors -- catch more fisherpersons than they do fish (sometimes).
Heck all the stuff made today is so much lighter, smoother, more sensitive, than all the clunky stuff of my youth.
Bamboo or solid glass rods, heavy reels, linen line that had to be washed clean of salt water after every use, hooks snelled on tarred line, with the smell of creosote on your hands, seemingly forever.
Now we have rods made of CARROTS. Rods light as a feather, with amazing strength. Reels with 7.1 - 1 gear ratios that don't break, and actually have power. Reels almost impossible to backlash. Almost invisible lines, and lures more fish-like than fish.
Just look at the beautiful stuff, learn to use it, and then DECLARE it to be "girly".

I thought this was about spinning reels  Academy here in San Angelo has some "girly fishing equipment", at least my grand daughter thinks it is.
