2484 west - gravel crossing is about 3 1/2 miles west of Pirtle Rd (same road as the long bridge)
Mapquest (killeen) actually shows Gravel crossing - crossing the river - but it doesn't
Primitive is right - a clearing in the trees is all it is - dirt (mud) ramp good for jon boats, canoes etc.... I used to put in there with my 12ft aluminum and 5 hp motor - made the trip to the rapids/shallows much faster than running up from the main lake
Hope this helps!
P.S. - don't leave ANYTHING valuable in your truck or car

Are there anyother areas on Stillhouse or maybe Belton that are good fishing? Maybe for white bass or crappie? I will be up there next weekend and plan to bring my kayak? Thanks, John

Hey Wacofishinfan, what is the lake like right now? Are the bass close to spawning, is the lake low, what about smallmouth? I am headed down there this weekend and sure would appreciate some info. I have never been on this lake before. Any help would be great.

Fished a Honey Hole tournament on the 28th, on Stillhouse and had great luck. It took over 20 lbs to win and we took 3rd with just over 17lbs. I won big bass with one that weighed 7.19 lbs. We started at 6am and were culling 15" by 8:30am. Can't recall any small mouths being weighed. The lake is 2 ft low.

Skip .. sorry I never hollered at ya while I was up there... had a sick dog at home and he's old so I had to leave earlier than I thought on Sunday ..
but I put in at Union Grove, and headed up into the first cut out directly across...saw some gulls working so I trolled over and got into the whites... man, I literally caught one on each cast !!! I caught 21 fish in about 50 minutes, had to throw 10 back(2 white, 8 LMB - all too small) .. but had 11 keeper whites... that was a BLAST .. now if I could just find bigger LMBs!

TNT, Glad you did well bud, that's what it's all about, having a great time on the water. Hope your dog is OK. Had to put my wife's cat to sleep a couple'a year's ago and it was really tough on her. Skip
