Just got back from surf fishing at Sargent, Tx. with my kids. As we pulled up to a bait camp right before the draw bridge, I realized I had no cash. I asked if they took credit and he said probably soon, bun not now. THEN< he said "I can just give you the bait and you can pay me back next time you come." I was really impressed. I couldn't do it because I am a hit and miss fisherman and did not know when I would return, but I was Really impressed. IF you get to fish Sargent, you ought to keep a man like this in business. Last bait before the drawbridge. Shrimp boat was named "Old Dude"
Sometimes life just throws you a pleasant curve huh?
Once in a while everyone should have a little saltwater therapy.

You really don't find folks like either one of you now days. First that he was willing to trust you until next time and you for not taking advantage of the guy.
I hope he gets more business because of your post, we need more folks like him and hopefully your karma paid off and got you some fish.

My pleasure today was not catching fish but listening to my 9 year old daughter scream with excitement when she saw dolphins about 75 feet away in the cut.
Once in a while everyone should have a little saltwater therapy.
